The sold-comps method: price almost anything in three minutes

  1. Search the exact model on eBay and tick "Sold items".
  2. Filter to the last 90 days and the same condition.
  3. Ignore listings that include extras yours doesn't have (or lack ones yours does).
  4. Note three numbers: the lowest sale, where most sales cluster, and the best sale with a genuinely better listing.
  5. Price near the cluster if you want it gone; near the top if your listing really is better and you can wait.
  6. Write the evidence in your stock notes: "4 sold £60–£75, mine boxed → £72".

AI can summarise a list of sold prices you paste in — but the prices come from real sales, never from the AI's imagination.

What do you price differently from this — and why? #pricing
