A seller routine where AI carries the load on low-energy days
Running a business means turning up on the days you don't feel like it. Living with bipolar makes some of those days a lot harder. A good routine with AI in it doesn't ask you to be at your best every day — it's built for your worst days too.
Split the work by energy
High-energy days: sourcing, photography, filming, live shows, big decisions.
Medium days: listing from photos you've already taken, answering messages, packing.
Low days: the minimum that keeps the shop alive — dispatch what's sold, reply to urgent messages, and let everything else wait.

Let AI take the low-day jobs
- Draft replies to buyer messages, so you only need to read and send
- Turn yesterday's notes and photos into listing drafts, ready to check another day
- Summarise what needs doing today, so you don't have to work it out
- Turn a messy list of jobs into three that actually matter
Keep some things off the table
On a low day, don't make big buying decisions, don't reprice everything, and don't argue with a difficult buyer — draft it, save it, look again tomorrow. On a high day, be wary of spending sprees at auctions; a price check and a night's sleep never hurt a good deal.
Be kind to the business and to yourself
Pause listings or set holiday mode rather than letting orders pile up. Tell buyers dispatch might be a day slower. A business that survives your hard weeks is a better business than one that only runs when you're well.
